- 5th International Congress in Occupational Health
- 19th - 21st September 2012
- Tarragona, Spain
- The Federation of Occupational Health Nurses within the European Union
(FOHNEU) is delighted to announce the 5th International Congress in
Occupational Health to be held in Tarragona, Spain on 19th - 21st September
2012.
- FOHNEU is a non profit making organisation representing the largest single
group of professionals in the field of Occupational Health. It was founded
in 1993 in the United Kingdom and has representatives from Occupational
Health Nursing organisations throughout the 27 member states of the European
Union.
- Previous FOHNEU Congresses have been held in London, Helsinki, Strasbourg
and Brussels. The 4th FOHNEU International Congress which was held in London
in 2007 included the participation of delegates from 23 countries. All EU
Institutions and Policy makers were represented at the event.
- Our 5th Congress entitled ?Embracing the future ? influencing change?
promises to be just as successful as our previous congresses. The Congress
will look at how this large group of Occupational Health professionals is
helping to influence the way in which we maintain a healthily productive
workforce into the future.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to reach Occupational Health Nurses employed
in industry, commerce, national health and safety executives, governmental
advisory boards and many other areas and workplaces within the member states
of the European Union. Membership of FOHNEU is increasing with the on-going
accession of new member states. Occupational Health Nurses are therefore the
largest group of health and safety practitioners in daily contact with the
workforce within the expanded EU.
